Buying an Apartment
It changes zone by zone. Çankaya is the most expensive district in Ankara with 2.750TL/m2 price as you can see on the map above. (Gölbaşı also looks expensive but it's not. Gölbaşı center is economical but there are luxury villas inreasing price unit)
Dikmen is the cheapest neighborhood in Çankaya. Cheapest 3 bedroom apartment 10-20 aged would be $75.000
Mamak, Altındağ, Pursaklar, Keçiören, Yenimahalle are B- and C, D segment settlements.
Cheaper new apartments can be found especially in Altındağ where most of Middle Eastern population settled which is close to schools which give Arabic education. Prices start from $55.000
Rents
It depends on location.
-Some neighbors are close to universities and prices are high. Landlords rent their home furnished for higher prices but furnishing quality is very low.
-Some places are close to subway and public transportation, it makes rents higher.
-Some places are very close to Ankara's popular socio-cultural neighborhoods. Rents are higher.
-Some places known being quiet and secure. A and B segments live there. Rents are higher.
-Some places have them all. Close to university, malls, cafes, subway and rents are higher.
Finding a proper apartment for rent which makes you happy is highly difficult if your budget is limited. Some of you might think that rents are cheap in Ankara, Turkey but it is absolutely not, unless you are not living in Çankaya. Every single foreigner (except Syrians and other Middle Eastern expats) lives in Çankaya.

Private schools are very expensive in Turkey either internationals or Turkish ones.
Minimum annual fees start from 20.000TL at the unnamed schools. Well-known brands are much more expensive
Salary
Minimum wage is 1.404 TL which is around $360. Lots of uneducated works for this price. Newly graduates starts around 2.000 TL.
Basic civil servant salaries starts from 2.500. University graduate officer's around 3.500 TL. Specialists are around 4.500TL
Private sector average salaries are between 2.500-3.200 TL.
Flight Ticket Prices
It is absolutely depends on how early you get your ticket. You find a ticket from Ankara to İstanbul for 60 TL which is as same as bus ticket price and bus goes there in 7 hours. But if you buy same ticket same day with your flight or one day earlier; it could be over 200 TL

A good book price start from 20 TL. It could be a few lira less when you buy online.
